Press release

You stand condemned.

By mujahid dokubo asari on saturday, october 2, 2010 at 6:41am
1st of october, marking the 50 years of the dubious independence of the nigerian state has opened another ugly chapter in the history of the heroic struggle of the ijaw and niger delta people to rid themselves of the imposed nigerian state; but we will not allow tactics that are alien to our noble struggle.

The struggle of our people is both moral and just...any attempt to divert us from this path will be resisted by those of us who have dedicated and committed our lives to the total emmancipation of our people based on the eternal foundation of justice and morality.

We refuse to distort our struggle and will not allow revolutionary clones to infiltrate the ranks of our noble and heroic combatants.

What happened in abuja today does not represent our struggle. It is perpetuated by those who are on ego trip, 'notice me', and those who have consistently used our legitimate struggle to arm-twist, blackmail and extort monies and other favours from the political mandarins, multi-national oil corporations, business and other political contractors.

Their usual tools to spread terror and fear in the society through kidnappings, bank robberies, assasinations and now through unsophisticated bomb explosions do not in any way target the bandits in abuja, port harcourt, yenagoa, uyo, asaba, etc.

But the ordinary people who lost their lives first in warri and now in abuja. We conndole with those who lost their loved ones to these criminal acts. We will resist them until they are totally purged from the fringes of our trenches. They are mere criminals who want to make a little money for their pockets. We will not allow them to continue to smear our noble struggle with this counter revolutionary tactics.

They stand condemned

Henry okah – “i have been vindicated”

By mujahid dokubo asari on thursday, october 7, 2010 at 8:26am

i will not like to bore you with a lengthy narration of my relationship with henry okah (with the pseudonym “gbomo jomo”. The facts can be found in my publication of 3rd october, 2007 – “conscience is an open wound; only truth can heal it” – together with several press releases by “akpos nabena” – spokesman for authentic mend, “cynthia whyte” of jrc, “boy-loaf”, “john togo, etc.

When i started to expose this blood-thirsty monster, henry okah, those who knew little or nothing about henry okah, because of either ignorance or primordial sentiments, jumped to his defense i was terrified when elder statesman pa edwin clarke, former president of ijaw youth council – jonjon oyinfie, oboko bello of findic, and demented collins eselemo were out to contradict me. Today wednesday, 6th october 2010, the tapes are playing and we are watching the monster run amuck!

15 days before now the intelligence unit of ndpvf had a stunning revelation and uncovered a plot by henry okah to re-arm militants – to re-arm his criminal gangs in the region. We intercepted large parches of arms that were being sent to his new recruits around the bonny, new calabar, sombreiro and st. Bartholomew rivers. This information was promptly forwarded to the security agencies that henry okah was up to something. These persons in government and its agencies dismissed it! That, i was a rabid hater of henry okah. And this information was passed by some unscrupulous top government officers to henry okah, that ‘asari’ had informed them that he, henry okah, was planning something. What a shame! I was still worried and sent warnings to them that henry okah was still up to something. A close associate of the president just dismissed it by saying “which time you and henry okah quarrel go end?”

All this is now history. Henry okah did not start today in his march to destroy goodluck jonathan and any outstanding voice in the niger delta…, especially amongst his ijaw kinsmen. When goodluck jonathan was chosen as vice presidential candidate of the ruling pdp, henry okah sent his criminal gang to attack yenegoa and nearly touched the government house; and proceeded to otueke where the country home of the then governor of bayelsa state – goodluck jonathan – was burnt. This is unknown to many people, that henry okah dispatched bombs to disrupt the 29th may 2007 presidential inauguration. Our intelligence intercepted it and made it available to the then vice president-elect, now president goodluck jonathan.

The information was acted upon. Henry okah was responsible for the bomb blast at the post-amnesty conference organized at warri, where most of the governors of the niger delta states were present. His grouse was that the governors of bayelsa and delta states said that mend was dead and only existed in the internet. The bomb explosion caused the death of 3 innocent niger deltans, who were in no way related to the governors of bayelsa and delta states at all.

Henry okah had sent assassins to assassinate: 1. Hon. George timinimi – former commissioner in delta state. 2. Chief daniel ekpebide – former assistant organizing secretary, inc and spokesman of findic. 3. Chief government ekpemupolo a.k.a ”tom polo” – the authentic head of mend. He orchestrated the murder of my cousins - tonye oruobu a.k.a “ala-“t”, dakuro princewill a.k.a “general odepupenibra; the head of our ballistic division – godwill osagie, and several others!! Henry okah’s insatiable quest for unmerited wealth had led many of our best fighters to death through bank robbery and hijacking. He is a heartless man who thinks that the world only exists for him!

When the bomb blast was announced, henry okah mischievously circulated information amongst journalists and newsmen in the press that i was responsible for the explosion in abuja, so that i would be picked up. But unfortunately for him, his people had goofed – they had already posted it in their official website. They started to do last minute fire-brigade work and damage control by sending out irrational condolence message that 30 minutes to the time of bomb blast, they had sent out a warning. Warning to whom? The bomb blast took place over 1 kilometer away from the eagle square, very close to the “izon wari” (the house of ijaw people) – bayelsa liaison office. How would the bomb have affected the people at eagle square? The sound of the blast was not even heard at the eagle square. My friends who were at the transcorp hilton hotel had said it was the 21 gun-salute and were celebrating with champagne.

Only the president and commander-in-chief was informed after the commander-in-chief had inspected the guard of honour, that an explosion had taken place in abuja. How can anybody in his right frame of mind claim that there was a warning? What were the parameters for evacuation? Would they have evacuated everybody one kilometer radius in every direction of the eagle square which would have meant the evacuation of a good portion, if not the whole of abuja!

As a trained combatant and an ijaw man, unlike most people who are not familiar with dynamite, explosives and other ballistic materials, i know that this is a cheap, crude and unsophisticated device which any ijaw fisherman would be able to detonate. Some unscrupulous fishermen in the niger delta use dynamites to make more catches of fish in the river; so detonation of dynamites is known to many fishermen in the niger delta!

Henry okah had said yesterday, that he was asked by goodluck jonathan’s aides to implicate northern politicians who do not want goodluck jonathan to return as president during the scheduled 2011 elections. Let us subject his statement to test with the facts stated above. Was it to smear northern politicians that goodluck jonathan asked him to attack yenegoa, destroying government infrastructure and burning down goodluck jonathan’s country home in otueke?  Was it goodluck jonathan and his aides that asked him to plan the bombing of eagle square during the 29th may, 2007 presidential inauguration? Was it goodluck jonathan, in order to smear northern politicians that asked him, henry okah, to plant bombs far away from the venue of post-amnesty in warri that led to the death of 3 innocent niger deltans? Was it goodluck jonathan who masterminded the british security agents linking henry okah to a planned terrorist attack in nigeria – which led to the south african security authority searching the residence of henry okah in johannesburg thursday, 30th september 2010, his brief arrest, detention and release?

We can see from the above that the monster henry okah needs a reservoir of the blood of innocent people to satisfy his “vampiric” thirst for human blood. First they made an attempt to hang it on me – alhamdullahi – they failed! Today, it is goodluck jonathan – insha allahu – they will also fail!

The man goodluck jonathan had distanced himself from me since he became president. His aides – for their incomprehensible considerations - consider me as political “bad news” and a deadly, smart virus, who will infect him if i came 10 kilometers close to him! His aides hate to see me; his ministers – even those who i helped to become ministers – lock their doors against me. As a kalabari man who believes in “kąląbąri, ini insi-nyą ąngą, ą mu-ă”, i kept my distance from him, his aides and ministers. I pray for him, that allah in his infinite mercy will protect him from the hands and fangs of the “gbaruka” and vampires.

It is now my call to duty – not because i am doing it for goodluck jonathan, no, but i am doing it for a covenant i made with myself, when i left the comfort of my father - justice melford goodhead - home, to join the ranks of the heroic combatants following the footsteps of the doyen of our struggle – isaac adaka boro – to snatch from the hands of our captors, our freedom and liberty; and to restore back to our people the dignity and honour of our sovereignty as a free people created  by god almighty.

If it were jonathan and not what he represents, i would easily have gone to where tons of my stolen money would have been placed in the palms of my hands; but jonathan is not the issue at all!

The drums of war – akuma - have been sounded by the ciroma’s, the tanko yakassai’s, the ali mungonu’s, the ibrahim rabiu’s, etc. We are not afraid of war! “āni bo brā bo brā, όmu” wą όmu digi bąlą fa-ă”. Let them come with their war.

For henry okah, i warned the clarke’s, the jon jon’s, and the oboko bello’s, and those who for whatever reason were defending the indefensible! Alhaji mujahid dokubo asari – the alabo edi-abali of kalabari – you saw what we were not able to see; you are right and vindicated!
